privacy@roblesconsultingllc.comThe short version
This site uses non-essential analytics cookies from PostHog and Google Analytics, and neither is set until you accept. There are no advertising cookies and no ad pixels. If you reject analytics, the PostHog code is never downloaded. It is not merely switched off after loading.
Google Analytics works differently before you choose: it loads with its cookies switched off and sends cookieless measurements that Google uses to estimate visits in total. Rejecting analytics, or a Global Privacy Control signal, stops it completely. See Analytics.
Separately, Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page, whether or not you accept. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. See Analytics for what it measures.
“Cookies” below is shorthand for cookies and equivalent browser storage such as localStorage, since the rules are the same either way.
Strictly necessary
These are exempt from consent because the site cannot do what you asked without them. They carry no advertising or cross-site tracking function.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type and lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
rc_consent | This site (first party) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we stop asking. For optional website-purchase attribution, we retain the version and time of your affirmative choice with that context. | localStorage. Re-asked after 12 months; cleared when you clear site data. |
rc_website_purchase_context_v1 | This site (first party), only when you start a website purchase | Keeps your selected plan and a random access token for checkout recovery in this tab. It contains no contact information, campaign details or referral code and grants no customer-account access. | sessionStorage, usable for 24 hours; removed when the tab session ends. If storage is blocked, recovery is limited to the current page until you use your verified account. |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that the Turnstile security check on our forms was passed, so you are not challenged repeatedly. Present only if a challenge was issued. | Cookie. Short-lived, set by Cloudflare. |
__Host-rc_buyer_challenge | This site (first party) | Ties an email-code verification request to your browser. Set only when you request verification. | Secure, HttpOnly cookie. Up to 10 minutes. |
__Host-rc_buyer_session | This site (first party) | Keeps your verified consulting session available while you complete a request. Not used for analytics or advertising. | Secure, HttpOnly cookie. Up to 30 minutes. |
| Turnstile working storage | Cloudflare | Temporary values Turnstile needs to complete the bot check on our contact forms. Turnstile does not use these to profile you across sites. | Cookie / local storage, cleared when the check completes or the session ends. |
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies, always on
Cloudflare, which hosts this site, adds a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com to every page. It reports which page you viewed, the site that referred you and how long the page took to load. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and does not use your IP address or browser details to recognise you. We see only totals, such as views by page, country, browser and device type. Because it stores nothing on your device, it is not in the tables on this page, and your cookie choice does not turn it off. A content blocker in your browser can block it.
PostHog: off until you accept
We use PostHog to measure page categories, offer and duration selections, calls-to-action and inquiry progress, including failed attempts. Broad referral categories help us understand how people find us. Only explicitly defined events are captured after consent; earlier activity is not replayed later. Names, contact details, message contents, raw URLs and query strings are excluded. Session recording, surveys and automatic text capture are disabled. Online session purchases also have defined events for the current purchase step, checkout attempts and failures, Google scheduling clicks, and acknowledged help requests. We exclude order references, payment amounts, intake contents and booking URLs.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type and lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_<token>_posthog | PostHog (first-party cookie on our domain) | Holds a randomly generated visitor identifier and session information so repeat page views can be counted as one visit rather than many strangers. | Cookie. 365 days. |
__ph_opt_in_out_<token> | PostHog | Records an opt-out so capturing stops. We deliberately configure this to use local storage rather than a cookie because recording a refusal by setting a cookie rather misses the point. | localStorage. Until you clear site data. |
_ga | Google Analytics (first-party cookie on our domain) | Holds a randomly generated identifier so Google Analytics can tell a returning visitor from a new one. | Cookie. 2 years. |
_ga_RWE4R5B9TF | Google Analytics (first-party cookie on our domain) | Keeps the state of your current visit so Google Analytics can count it as one session. | Cookie. 2 years. |
Google Analytics: cookies only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and calls-to-action are useful. It receives a page view for each page and the same defined events as PostHog. The page address it receives has every query parameter removed except utm_ campaign tags, and the referring address is cut down to the referring site. Google receives your IP address and browser details with each request and derives an approximate location from them; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.
Before you choose, Google Analytics runs with its storage permission denied: it sets no cookies and sends cookieless measurements that Google uses to model visits in total. If you accept, it may set the two Google Analytics cookies in the table above. If you reject analytics, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics stops sending anything.
If you withdraw consent, we stop capturing immediately and delete the PostHog and Google Analytics cookies from your browser without waiting for a page reload.
If your browser cannot save the cookie preference, your choice lasts for the current page only and we may ask again after a reload. If browser storage cannot be read, analytics stays off.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of PostHog and Google Analytics and do not show you a banner at all. You can still opt in deliberately using the control below if you want to.
What we don't use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no ad-network pixels.
- No social media tracking widgets. Links to LinkedIn and Medium are plain links that do nothing until you click them.
- The exception is our press page: your browser loads our public Medium article list through rss2json.com, and article pages show images hosted by Medium. Those services see your IP address and browser details, as with any web request.
- No third-party font requests. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you were here.
- No session recording, heatmaps, or keystroke capture.
- No selling or sharing of data for advertising purposes.
Change your choice
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect right away. The Cookie settings link in the footer of every page does the same thing.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser has controls under Privacy or Site settings, and most offer a way to clear data for a single site. Blocking the strictly necessary items may mean the security check on our forms fails, or that we ask about analytics again on every visit because there is nowhere to record your answer.
For the wider picture of what we do with personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
